Results table
Sort, filter, pivot, and export your query results without leaving Cocobox.
Run a query, get rows. The results table is where you live with those rows.
Sort
Click any column header to sort ascending; click again for descending; a third click clears. Sort happens client-side over the result set you fetched — it doesn’t re-issue the query.
Filter
The filter bar at the top of the table accepts column-scoped predicates:
email contains @acme.comcreated_at > 2026-01-01status in (active, trial)total >= 1000
Multiple filters AND together. Click a filter to negate (NOT contains …).
Group / pivot
Drag a column header into the Group by zone above the table. Cocobox folds rows by the chosen column, with per-group aggregations (count, sum, avg, min, max) for numeric columns. Drag multiple columns to nest groups.
For more complex transforms, use the Pivot dialog: rows, columns, values, aggregator. The result is a new client-side table you can export.
Search the result
Cmd/Ctrl + F searches every cell. Highlights matches. Useful for “is this user in here somewhere?”.
Cell view
Click a cell:
- Long strings open in a side drawer with monospace formatting.
- JSON is parsed and rendered as a tree.
- Timestamps show local + UTC + relative (“3 hours ago”).
- NULLs render as a dim italic
nullso you can tell them from the string"null".
Export
Top-right of the results panel → Export:
- CSV — RFC-4180, UTF-8 with BOM optional.
- TSV — tab-separated.
- JSON — array of objects.
- NDJSON — one object per line.
- Excel (.xlsx) — with column-type preservation.
- Markdown table — for pasting into PRs and tickets.
- SQL
INSERT— round-trippable INSERT statements for the same table.
Exports respect your current filters and sort. You can choose to export only the visible rows or all fetched rows.
Result size
The editor fetches up to 10,000 rows by default. To go larger:
- Use
LIMITon the server side and paginate. - Increase the row cap in Settings → Editor (capped at 100,000 on Team, unlimited on Enterprise).
- For dataset-scale exports, use the API — there’s no row cap there, but you stream the result.
Re-execute
Hit Cmd/Ctrl + Enter to re-run the active statement. The table updates in place; sort and filters are preserved when the column set hasn’t changed.
